MBNA Credit Protection

Hello Everyone,

I have been pretty heavily medicated and off from

work due to illness for about six months. Well, I didn't

realize that MBNA snuck in a Credit Protection fee of 150.00

on my statements until the other day. I've been charged for

this fee and could have used it!

I talked to them a few days ago and I still haven't recieved

a packet in the mail to give to my doctor for filing. What

is up with this? I could have been cleared for not being capable

of paying my credit card bill for the past six months.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for any help.

I don't know how their protection works (would assume they will make it difficult to collect though just because that's the way credit cards are).

Anyway, you would be better posting this specific question on the Debt Question & Answer board, others there will be able to help you more with an answer http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-mldebtqa
