A month of rest...

I've decided that next month I'm going to take a break from my debt payoff plan. While I'm thrilled that I've been able to pay off so much in such a short period of time, I'm tired to having no money left over after I get my paycheck b/c I'm so obsessed with paying my cards off! So, for just one month, I'm going to travel back to that blissful time when paying the bare minimums on my cards was perfectly acceptable. I think after 6 months of heavy duty debt paying, I deserve it! :)

phew!
All my best,
Danni
I know it's going to be tough for me to pay only the minimums b/c this payoff thing has become such an obsession, but I'm really going to try. I think my biggest problem is that I'm horrible at budgeting. It seems like lately I've been getting my paycheck, immediately sending as much as I can to my credit cards and then realizing "uh-oh, I forgot to set aside some money for groceries!" and then I'm eating Ramen noodles for a week :)

I can't blame you at all for that!
I too am an obsessive debt payer offer (?)LOL!
I get carried away---poor DH asks me for a little money and evil frugal woman comes out--
"What do you NEED?!! Gas?? You can walk those 45 miles to work in the snow- you have boots! We have a credit card to pay off!!"" Ha! KWIM?
Anyway, enjoy your month off, get yourself something nice. I guess in a way I took a month off too because I bought that furniture and it will take a month of snowflaking to pay it off. Have fun! Nicki
I agree with the others just make sure it's only a MONTH's rest. ;)

Becky-
Hee hee, yes it will definitely be 'only a month.' Just the thought of letting that interest pile up is making my skin crawl.
