October update

I started in June and added up my debt $10,000. October $8,400. Just saying those figures makes my breath stop and gives me a headache. But at least I can see a reduction in the amount.

I still need to control my binging, my overdrat is $800 and my Amx is $400. I am paying off my overdraft tomorrow and making 2 equal payment to Amx, so that will be paid off in November.

Thanks for sharing ladies, it really helps to see that I'm not alone.

Hey...sounds like you're doing pretty well. Debt going down is a good thing!

I'm basically in the same place as you, I think. My debt is currently at 8,200, down from 10k in July. (I had thought it was less, but had forgotten about some of the smaller debts, so that was pretty scary).

Even though it's still a big number to you, it's DECREASING and that is cause for celebration!!

I agree w/the other posts. Congrats on your debt decreasing. Also, welcome to the board. The key thing is not to add more debt.

You've made progress...in the right direction!!! Now that's a good thing :)

Even if you'd posted that your debt went up, we'd still cheer you on.

Whoo-hoo for you!! Watching that number drop is awesome-sometimes I know I think it should drop faster, like now!

I think that the fact that $8400 still alarms you is a good sign-it'll give you that extra push to get it g-o-n-e!

Keep going-you're going to get that paid off in no time-
