Credit Reports

I'm 26 years old and applying for a specific job which requires me to have a handle on my credit. Fortunately, it isn't that bad. I don't qualify for a consolidation loan because my debts are under $10,000. I have already begun making some progress in rectifying my situation but it is difficult. I had a lot of help achieving bad credit from an alcoholic parent who stole my ID and ran up various accounts. Anyway, one of the first steps is pulling a credit report, which I have.
My question is: is there a big discrepancy between the reports from the three different bureaus? I have my report from Experian. Do all three reflect the same accounts or is it mandatory to pull all three? Can I work from the report from Experian? Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I really think you need all three. In my experience and research, Experian reports the least amount of information and Equifax reports the most, with TransUnion falling somewhere in between. Since you never know which report your employer might look at (not to mention that you want to find any ID theft!) it's a great idea to work on all three. Yes, it takes a little more time and might cost a little more money, but it should be worth it in the long run.
Hope this helps a little!
Melanie
I went ahead and pulled all three, and boy am I glad I did. Now I know what I have to work on, and the good thing is that I'm in pretty rough shape but it shouldn't take long to correct if I tighten my belt a little.
I have other questions but I'll put it in another post. Thanks again!
