Are you sure there's a light at the end

of this long, winding tunnel, it feels like i've been doing this forever. I'm trying to concentrate on the positives, but when the bad outweigh the good almost every month you just sort of quit trying. I'm sorry for whining, but this two weeks is going to be really rough and i'm really having a hard time this time around (pretty sure PMS has something to do with it)to make matters worse I had an overdraft fee, something I haven't had in a long time. I can't believe I did that. I'm hoping this week improves.

YES there *is* a light at the end of the tunnel but there are days that it seems very, very far away!!!!

I know how you are feeling but don't give up, you will just end up worse (I usually end up slightly worse for these feelings of "it makes no difference anyway, so what's a few more $$$$$$$ of debt racked up" and then I'm worse than when I started!)

And here's the bright side - if PMS is to blame, it *will* get better soon and you'll feel better

I'm sorry! I'm feeling the same way right now. Just when I think I see the light, something blocks it. I have sooo much stress, I have been getting headaches lately, my muscles are tense. Oh, I think we need a hug. (((hug))) I hope everything starts going better for you soon.

Yes, there is a light way down there somewhere. I just paid my property taxes on time for the first time in 8 years!!!! It was a very, very, very long and dark tunnel, but I have seen the light and it's getting brighter every day. Just keep plucking away and you will reach it too!!!

It can be rough, but there's always light at the end of the tunnel. Are you able to get a line of credit on your checking account? I have one on mine, not that it's much use at the moment, I've maxed it already! I try not to get too down about my debt, and just having money to make bills and not even get a new pair of winter shoes for work, or a much needed coat. So far the weather is still fairly warm where I am, so I have time to wait, but it's embarrassing for work. I have a good job, but a ton of debt and bills to pay every month. I know I can rent the spare room in my condo, but my sanity is worth more than the $300 a month I would probably make. It's a choice I make. During these times that's all you can do - make choices.

Just a thought on the coat situation.... Have you checked out thrift stores? Don't laugh or roll your eyes... I sell very high end things on ebay that I buy in thrift stores. You may find something that works for you. I usually use an at home dry cleaner to freshen them up.

Just curious about e-bay. I've thought of selling stuff there, but was put off thinking it is complicated. IS it?? I sometimes think we have so much junk around this house, we SHOULD be able to get a small but steady income just selling it off!

Ebay is not complicated at all!! Sell you stuff, it's easy! We are currently "uncluttering" our house and selling everything! Check out ebay and there are tutorials, and lots of help sections to help you out. It's really simple. My one suggestion to you though, is to only ship on one day of the week. It makes life much easier, if you can pack up the weeks sales all at once and ship on one day.

We've sold on and off for a while.Whenever we either want money or feel like clearing out the house we start selling. We each have full time jobs so this is something we do in our spare time. We have found that not only is it easy, but we really have fun with it. Remember the the US Postal service will provide all, and I do mean ALL of the supplies to ship priority mail. No cost and no hassle for you. We make sure that we ship the day after payemnt has cleared or in the case of paypal we usually ship the same day. We have sold a wide variety of things and have always been pleased. The computer I am using right now is a monster DELL that we paid cash for from ebay money. Right now we are selling again because we decided to take a trip to Europe but will only do so if we can pay cash. I should qualify something however... We have made a bunch of money selling things from our home. We also have been very fortunate to have made some very good purchases at auctions. That can involve an additional set of skills. We often find that out of an entire auction lot we may want a single item. We sell off the rest. Understand that there is some danger in that. You MUST know your products if you decide to invest any of your money in the venture. I would suggest selling excess items from your home. You must spend time researching the items. You need to know how much they retail for, how much demand there is for the item and how much it has been selling for in ebay recently. All of this can be done from the comfort of you home. We photograph many items at a time just because it is convenient to do so. We actually set up a mini studio in our loft (upstairs)or on our balcony and shoot as much as we can think of. We then store the photographs so the are ready when we decide to list. Look at other peoples ads to get an idea what you might want to do. Remember that this is a business and you must treat it as such. When we are doing ebay we are working it every night. We are checking for emails from potential buyers with questions and are following up on sales. When a transaction is complete we have the item ready to go out the next day and ship on the way home from the office.Good luck.
