Ok I did it and added up all my debt (not including my house : Due to situation). $11192.45 so that hit me like a tank. Ok now what? Other than the water guy coming to take away my water tanks due to I can't pay him....now we won't be able to drink it, cook with it and barely bathe in it.....OK breathe and take it one day at a time right? So sad!

Don't feel bad--- my SUV balance alone is more than that($16K). We also have 2 student loans($14K), 1 cc ($5K) and mortgage($46K).

Maybe you could buy a filter to go on your sink (PUR?,approx. $30) and put lots of bubbles in the tub to cover the smell!!LOL!!!! I won't drink our town water either.

Once you get organized and be careful on spending- you can knock that $11K down very quickly. We paid off about $10k in cc this past year- you can do it too!!!!! Stay postive!!!! Nicki :)

Thank you for your kind words unfortunately we have 2 (3) choices with our water problem 1. tank exchange about $100.00 monthly 2. a whole new salt system $3000.00 3. Deal with all the bad stuff 10 times the iron limit etc...and have pink clothes rusty water and smell like eggs. Sounds good huh? Anyway this can't last forever....right????

Sorry to hear about what you are going through. Just a thought......why not buy a water filter for the kitchen sink and/or a Brita water pitcher (it has a filter).

Just my two cents.

No it is not bottled water it is a tank system that recycles and filters the water (the best it can) to be habitable. Sorry for the confusion.

do you mind if i ask you where you live? We live in NYC. However, we are building our first home in the Poconos, PA. We will have well water. I'm concern about that. I wonder if we're be able to use the water system you have overthere.

Thanks.

Danni said that number has no where to go but down. However I stopped using my credit cards in Jan 2003 and they have still gone up because of late fees and over the limit fees.

I am in Ct about 5 hours from the Pocono's. We use Culligan I would get the whole new filteration system If it was feasable but I wouldn't be on this board if it was LOL. It is funny because my MIL lives 20 min away in the next town over and has perfect well water!
