Ok I did it and added up all my debt (not including my house : Due to situation). $11192.45 so that hit me like a tank. Ok now what? Other than the water guy coming to take away my water tanks due to I can't pay him....now we won't be able to drink it, cook with it and barely bathe in it.....OK breathe and take it one day at a time right? So sad!

Oh, Holy !!!!! What in did we do? What the are we gonna DO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
And, then, to make it even better, I got a phone call from my DH 3(yep,THREE) days later and he said, "Honey? Can you come get me from work? I'm done." "Oh? You got off early? How come?" "No, I'm done, as in laid off." Uh-huh-more 's, ROFL!!!! (yes, I have a twisted sense of humor. I'd rather laugh than cry about it. Besides-look at all the character it's built!)
Now, you have the number in front of you. You're in the driver's seat, which is lots better than being unaware of the total. Really, I promise. It's a really weird thing that I've noticed-when someone gets serious-really truly focused on this paying debt off thing, doors and windows open wide, and help comes from the most unexpected sources. Why is that? I dunno. I know that for me, it took all the stuff mentioned above, plus a phone conversation with my best friend who said, "I dunno, Lisa. I'm thinking you've got the snowball thing backwards. Aren't you supposed to be rolling it over instead of it rolling over you?" (my answer was (no, not more beeps, LOL, but, "You know, I think you may be onto something.")
So, anyway, good job! And don't lose hope completely. You will lose hope along the way, and sometimes things will seem awfully dark, but you know-you can do this. I know you can!
~Lisa :)
