It's kind of funny but I'm not sure if life hadn't thrown us a curve ball, it would have phased me so much.

Happy dance is I got the title to our minivan in the mail today so WOO HOO!!!

Yeah.... at least you own it! We have one more 1/2 payment to make on our truck and then it will be all ours too!!!! On the other hand we just bought a new jeep a few months ago and if we only make the minimum payments and pay it off at the projected time (of course we will be paying it off early) then by the time it is paid off Hayley will be driving!!!!!ACK! What did we do? I too hate car payments, but I do enjoy having a nice reliable car so it's a little give and take.

Congratulations!!

I usually keep my cars about 10 years too, but the last one only made it 9 years. Actually, I probably could have driven it another couple of years, but I can't believe the peer pressure for me to get a new car. My husand, sister, and even boss all said I 'deserved' a new car. I don't get it!! I don't think that a new car is a 'deservable' item! Maybe I 'deserve' a massage if my back hurts, or I 'deserve' a facial if I get a bonus at work, but to deserve a new car doesn't make sense to me. Whatever....sorry for the rant.

I'm glad for you, don't worry about what's happened in the past or future, just enjoy your new car, and drive safely. :-)

All the best,

Lee Ann
