Well, things are looking pretty good. We're keeping to our spending plan. We have savings (thanks to God blessing us with a travel claim/reimbursement triple what we expected), and are actually getting out of debt. Right now we've paid down $250 worth of credit card debts, and $100 of "old debts" in various categories. Not as much as I'd wanted to have paid at this point, but the kids and I did go home for Thanksgiving which we haven't done in 8 years. I needed to see my grandfather...my grandmother died earlier this year and I hadn't been able to get home. Neither had I seen my dad in 8 years, and he and his new wife were there as well. Money well spent in my opinion!!!
However...we also found out that we might be able to move home to NC in February, which we would have to pay for ourselves. Not a problem since God's blessing is enough to cover the truck, and our continued contributions to savings will cover supplies and gas/meals for the trip. Should move not be approved..oh well, it'll mean we're ahead in savings than expected.
I just wanted to share that while tight, things are going well for us.

Great news!
All my best,
Danni
