Slowlydrowning, I was just wondering if you are still here, and how things are going. I haven't seen you post for a while and I know you seemed pretty stressed in your last couple of posts.

Sorry I didnt see this post!! Yes im still here...Still very stressed out and not to sure what I will do..I do have some good news though...I was approaced at work and asked if I would take my old job back! This is a job that I stepped down from and took a huge cut in pay because of the stress I was under...So I have had a break and they really need me and like my work...I said yes, I need the money...Also I talked to my apartment manager because I couldnt afford to pay all of my rent in one check and asked her about cleaning the empty apartments..She said funny you ask that the lady they had is retiring and they need someone!! She said she would love to work something out with me so I can handle the rent here and not have to move...So what im counting on mostly is tax time when I will be able to at least get caught up and on my feet somewhat...Im behind 1 car payment and they call me at work at least 10 times a day!!! and the also call my phone another 10 times a day..when I do talk to them and tell them what day im sending payment they still call the next day again..so why keep talking to them when they say they wont call again and they still do..its very hard at work..I cant take thier calls!! I work the front end at a busy walmart and the last thing I have is time to take a call from them...Im hoping this will all straighten out eventually...thanks for asking about me!!

Hello! Just want to say about the car payment thing, that I've gone thru that too. However, I found out by talking to them that you can add your current payment to the end of your contract and therefore give you some leeway. I've done this twice (although, your interest payment will be a little higher at the end). But, for me it works out, so as not to have my note payment listed as late and/or not paid. It's called an extention, for me all I had to tell them what is going on (i.e. financial difficulty, death, etc.) I also asked the person to please note this on the computer - so that I would not get any more calls. Hope this helps. Take care and God Bless you and yours for this holiday season.

At our bank, they allow 3 "deferments" a year on our payments. It basically just resets your payment, giving you an additional thirty days. BUT... they charge fifty dollars each time! So, they get that money, plus the additional interest! Unfortunatly, we have had to do this several times... hopefully not anymore though. The way I figured was that that was cheaper than repo! Good luck and keep us posted...
