I cannot believe it!!!!!!! Our Durango has a broken tail light and dent in hatch from last week-- just mysteriouly was there after a shopping trip and Christmas party- not sure from which one. $600 damage.
Then last night we got home from Walmart, and DH notices a big white scratch across his door and big crack in fender!!!!! Of course he didn't see it until we got home (30 minute drive) and it was dark. He says it will prob. be another $600. Our insurance deductable is $500 per incident!!! He said he'll try to fix it cheaper without turning it in. I told him it will be staying like that for a little while because I'm not forking up the money. He's a perfectionist and is having a fit because his vehichles have to be spotless (and dentless.) But do you know how much paint is?!!!??

He has an extra pay this month and he said before that I can have it for the cc and I'll be darned if he's going to tell me to use it to fix that car! I'm mad it happened too, and it makes me mad the people didn't leave a note. But we need to pay off that cc by March(rate goes up) and furniture too! Maybe we can use some income tax money- if there's enough left, because we MUST use it for a new top roof. I could just scream!! Thanks for the vent! Nicki

I'm so sorry that has happened. I have a 2002 minivan that seems to attract hit and runs, too. On all four corners there are big ole scratches and dents from people hitting it and then driving off. It really pisses me off. I would love to sell it (it's a bit of a lemon and the warranty runs out in a few months) but I know it will be devalued big time just because of the damage. I got an estimate once to get it all fixed up and it was about $500 per bumper. Don't a grand right now and even if I did I don't think it would go to the car so know I'm stuck. Best of luck to you.
