DSG Fire Drill!!!!

Hi! Yes, I'm giving you a fire drill before Christmas!

When you are reading this fire drill, you are leaving a business meeting or a holiday party, and you have discovered that someone has taken your warmest winter coat with them (and we hope this has happened by mistake!).....You make it home by borrowing a winter coat from your host, but will you be able to replace the coat you lost or do you have another one you can wear? With this being a time of year where money is tight, will you have to do some creative accounting to get another coat, or do you have other sources to get a coat? Can you just run out and get another one, or will you have to wait and make do? Do you already have another coat at home you can wear?

For friends in warmer climates, would it be a disaster to lose rain gear or some other protective clothing this time of year?

A lot of times I see coat drives at this time of year, and I think how difficult it must be to not have a warm coat.

Please share!

Hmm...
My current coat is a dark grey one that my fiance's parents got me for Christmas last year. I wear it all the time, so that would be the one that was lost. I would be very unhappy... it's hard to find grey coats, and she looked for a long time. But I have a jacket that I could wear (with a sweater) that I got for my birthday from a client. I also have another coat that is my friend's. It is too short for her, but it fits me! (yay). And a ski jacket that my mom got me for Christmas one year. So I would be fine. I do worry about people who don't have coats. It's getting colder. We've tried to find stuff we can donate, and so far we've come up with a pair of thick socks that he never wears, and a couple of scarfs. None of our coats are 'giveawayable', because they are all recent gifts from people.
