Hi, we are seriously in debt. That said, I was wondering if I should change the amount of money I put into my retirement? Currently, I am putting in 8%. Where I work my employer automatically gives me 4%, then matches each 1% I give with a 1/2 % upto 8%. Also, I have all these AFLAC policies which were being pay-roll deducted, however, I am going to have to start paying for them out of my checking account each month. Should I keep all of them?? I have, Cancer, Accident, ICU, Short-term Disability, and Hospital Indemity. :-) My DH has had lung troubles in the last few years so I am a little scared of canceling the policies since he is already covered...... Suggestions?
