I knew it was too good to be true....

...last night my car started jerking and the malfunction indicator light came on, then it started blinking. My manual said that could mean my catalytic converter is damaged or some other emissions-related issue.
So today I'm going to have my car towed to the dealership.
I knew something would happen as soon as I paid all that money on my credit card!
I've been working my butt off, saving and paying down debt. That's where 90 % of my debt comes from, is car repairs for my previous car.
I'm so upset. This just isn't fair. I was finally starting to get ahead.
I have no idea how much I'm going to have to pay. This is so depressing.
It's so hard being a single female. All the married folks seem to get breaks. I can't afford a house on my own, which would give me some tax breaks. I pay more taxes b/c I'm not married. But, I don't get paid like a man would for my job.
Today life just sucks for me.

Hey there - sorry to hear about your car!
All my best,
Danni
I'm a AAA member so it won't cost me to have the car towed. I have to have it towed b/c it's jerking really badly now, and I don't want to damage it further or break down on me. I believe it's still under warranty. Anyway, I do trust my dealership at this point. I'll see what they say tomorrow, anyway. I'm researching my VW board to see what anyone else has to say about this issue.
Thanks.
