2 ham and cheese sandwiches for me, plus the ever present Pepsi.

Not the most balanced or nutricious, but baby steps to getting there!

I need to make a grocery list for "fixings" for my favorite lunches to inspire me to bring from home...

Edited to say, I still have a bage/cream cheese as well as granola bars for snacking. Need to buy some fruit for snacking/breakfast.

I actually have been doing this, but since I'm not back at school yet it's not too hard.

On Monday night, when I was working late at the library, instead of ordering out like I normally do, DH brought me a cheese quesadilla when he dropped DD off.

Yesterday, I made sure I ate a PB & J when I got home from the library.

Tonight, it's another late night at the library, so either I'll take a PB &J or have DH bring me a quesadilla.

So, it's going OK, but next week will be the true test!

Breakfast at home,
Oatmeal with cut up strawberries and banannas
A cranberry muffin
Coffee

Lunch....Same as yesterdaay...in a recycled Victoria's Secret bag...today we're being trendy...hehe

Little turkey and cheese wrap.
Salad with bleu cheese.
Other half of my grapefruit.
2 Clementines (for snacks)
Some baby carrots
Water from the water cooler...

I usually buy enough stuff to have lunch and breakfast for at least a week....
I tend to buy what's on sale...so my meals vary according to what's cheap
If I get sick of eating the same thing everyday...I'll make extra food at dinner and bring that....

I'm at home during the day today, so my lunch will be whatever I remember to make. Tonight, I don't worry about dinner, because my students' moms give me snacks.

Made Fi's lunch today - he's working from 8:00 am to 10:00pm, so he got:

PB sandwich
meat and cheese sandwich
2 hardboiled eggs
an apple
a piece of cinnamon coffee cake

he has tea, coffee and hot chocolate at work, as well as some other small snack things. I hope I packed him enough food. If I can keep this up, it saves us ~$5 per day.

This was a good day for me:

Breakfast at home:
2 packages instant oatmeal

Lunch: yogurt

Snacks: peanut butter crackers and 2 cookies

My downfall is when I have to leave the office to run errands for work. I always end up going through some drive-thru for an unneccessary snack. Like yesterday, there was some magnetic force field pulling my car into Dunkin Donuts for a bagel. I don't know how to stop this!

Help!

..well I need help, too. I went to Barnes and Noble to look for a new calendar, they have them all 50% off, and I got an iced chai latte...we're having gorgeous weather here, unseasonably warm.
Oh, well. Tomorrow is another day. I think I will go to the grocery store and buy a pack of Frappuccino's so I"m not tempted so much.
