Well, I was so excited about getting our finances under control...i cut up all but one card, put that one in the freezer in ice, started a savings acct, saved all my change, then yesterday I used my QVC card that is saved on the computer. My face has started breaking out bad, & nothing works but Proactiv. I've been so depressed about my face & worried about scarring that I just couldn't help it...I ordered a kit last night. $50, but my b-day is in a few days & I always get money, so I'm planning on paying the $50, plus the usual minimum. I'm also going to get the number off the website so I can't do that again.

At least you have a plan to pay it back and not use the card anymore! You're doing fine :) We all fall off the wagon once in awhile. Don't be hard on yourself :)

That almost sounds like a medical expense to me!

I definitely wouldn't beat yourself up over that. While I really want to get my debt under control, there are certain things I still probably pay too much for and one of them is to get my hair colored. I am prematurely gray but if I let it go I feel SO depressed and feel I look ugly and old. If your face breaks out without this Proactiv I would not hesitate buying it. You have a plan for paying it back quickly and you will feel beautiful! A win win situation!

Way to go on the good start this year!

Don't beat yourself up about it. It's a necessarity. Plus, you mentioned you were going to pay it right away.

It's all good, really. You've got a plan to pay it off, and to not use the card again.

This sounds like an 'envelope item' to me! Since you know that you will be using this stuff, set aside money every month for it, and the next time you need to buy it, you can do it with cash! (or a quick payment to the Visa)

Hang in there-

Good luck with it. I've been using it for about 9 years. It really hepled my skin. I pay $45.90 about every 2 months. I didn't get it from QVC. I ordered it from the infomercial and they bill me when it comes in the mail. I treat it just like any other bill, it's fiqured into my monthly expenses. Don't beat yourself up about it. If it works for you it was worth it.
