I went grocery shopping. I bought stuff to make chili, meatloaf, sloppy joes, spaghetti, hamburgers, and a turkey breast, which will feed us for at least 2-3 days. (family of 4). I have soup and sandwich stuff for lunches already, and I will defintely make a huge batch of mashed potatoes for potato pancakes. Maybe I'll make some bread and a chocolate pie, too. Anyhow, it was a no frills trip, unless you count the reynolds oven bags, which I consider to be well worth the buck something I pay for them. I only spent $35. Aside from milk and pepsi I should not have to shop again this week. This week has been a bit overbudget (On a whim, I decdied to let my dd take gymnastics at the Y), but I have been brown-bagging it. I am excited to see if a little bit of planning makes a difference in our eating!!! Heather

Way to go! I love that feeling when you get organized and are ready for the week. I have to go to Costco this weekend and I should be set for the next month with the exception of perishables. Congratulations!!

deciding to be happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, but that you had decided to look beyond the imp
