How to save $$ when DH eats so much?

Our grocery bill is huge. On average, we spend at least $500 a month at the grocery store. It's just the two of us. DH is a big boy--6'4" and 230 lbs, and he eats like a horse. Sure, we buy Ramen Noodles, but he'll sit down and eat 4 of them, plus knock off 3 pieces of garlic bread. He'll eat 2 sandwiches and a double helping of chips and a bowl of potato salad. And he drinks 3 or 4 glasses of whatever he's drinking at each meal! We go through a gallon of milk and a gallon and a half of juice AND 3 gallons of spring water a week. Thank goodness I put a stop to soda in the house--he was drinking a CASE in a weekend all by himself!
I just don't know how to save $$ when he's eating us out of house and home! We already shop at Super-Walmart and buy all store-brands, and use coupons, so good lord, what else can we do?

If you havent checked it out...check out the message board here at IVillage called Frugal Kitchen. its in the food section.(I am not sure how to enter it as a link here). BUT a recent question with Tightwad tips section is Websites for frugal food.
The 2nd answer(as far I have got so far)has a very large list of web sites including USDA web site with a printable thrifty cookbook.
There is also a site called frugal living here at I Village.
Hope this helps.
