How often ,or ever ,do you pay someone to give you a manicure/pedicure?
- once a week
- biweekly
- once a month
- a couple of times a year
- only on a special occasion
- only a few times ever
- never, I wouldn't pay someone to do that

I was just curious because a few of my relatives will run to the nail salon if they even get a crack in one of their nails. Manicures/Acrylic Nails are a very regular thing for them at around $25 a visit. They think it's strange that I've never gotten a manicure/pedicure. I understand getting your hair done because you can't do that yourself. (Okay- I've cut my own hair many times~ I'll confess.)
But I can easily reach my own nails to trim, file and paint them myself. Am I the only one who has no desire to go and spend the money?

deciding to be happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, but that you had decided to look beyond the imp
I can't afford to go very often at all (voted a couple of times a year) but OMG do I love it. It is truly the only pampering thing I get. I have an intense phobia about getting my hair done by anyone (cut it myself - and love it the way it is LOL) so mani/pedis are all I have!!! If I could afford it I would go once a month. But I can't so it's a couple times a year for me.
*sigh* Now I wanna go get a pedicure!!!! LOL
No you are not the only one. The only time I ever had a manicure done, was for my wedding. That was almost 8 years ago.
I've only had a manicure and pedicure once. My friend was going to school to be a nail tech and she needed customers. The price is $16 for both. If I did get either one done I would go to the cosmotology school again. I don't really care how my nails look. I did love the foot massage though.
In fact this is where we are going to start going to get our hair done too--$5 for a haircut. Just ask for a student who is close to graduating.
They also have a massage school there; $15 for an hour massage. Haven't tried that yet but I'm going to for my birthday.

I've had a manicure twice in my life- both on my wedding day (I've been married twice) and I want a professional look for the hands/rings pictures. The money was well worth it and it was good for me both times to relax and sit still during those busy times!
