Don't you hate it when that happens?

think about it...the thing in your house you can't go more than a day without.
Umm..for me, it is my computer/printer. I use my printer everyday for dd's therapy, and older dd's schoolwork. And, my all-in-one machine DIED. I mean after spending $60 in cartridges in just over two weeks. I thought it was using ink awfully fast (though I did print some pictures the first time around). Turns out, the first cartridge is still full, the second was a waste of money. And the printer is DEAD. So I went out and bought a new one (with money from my savings) because i literally cannot go a day without one without holdiong up my daughter's therapy. The *good* news is that I managed to find one of decent quality that takes the same kind of cartridges, under $100 after my discount. The bad news is that I raided my savings. GRR! Hopefully, I'll be able to pay myself back next payday. Heather

I completely understand. For me it's the computer. (I have all my accounts set up in Quicken and couldn't even begin to balance a check register using pen and paper anymore). My other biggie is the microwave. It has saved me from eating out literally hundreds of times. For DH it is his PDA. He keeps track of his schedule, my schedule, the kids' schedule, addresses, his school assignments etc. When his crashed a couple of weeks ago, he was able to get it up and running but we held our breath for a little while not having to want to buy a new one.
As for the computer and microwave, both have had to be replaced in the last 18 months!
