Let's just say I backslid today....I had to have this craft stuff, I didn't neeeeeeed it, I just had to have it....so out came the credit card......okay, I'm glad I have it, and now I STOP!!!!!!

This has been such an expensive month........

I have been at least good tonight in that I am rewriting parts of my resume and getting ready to be back in the interview mode soon.

Shortly, I will be working on trying to organize something in the house again or maybe I'll be working on the taxes (I have milage to add up, but I am beginning to see that I may not be able to exceed the standard deduction even after all the health and job stuff I spent money on last year.....(what a shame the tax system doesn't credit us folks more who were out of work and had a lot of medical expenses on a moderate income...)

Tomorrow will be a day fighting the weather and trying to relax and organize......Maybe a glorious winter nap like the one I had this afternoon.......and working on craft stuff.

Watching TV and thinking about everything right now.....so much to do, so much to act upon....I'm trying to keep up a healthy, positive attitude.....and keep up my health, too.

Good-night, Littlesbigs

don't feel to bad about spending the money on craft stuff! at least you can get your money's worth out of crafts... the amount of time you spend working on them and keeping yourself busy and creative will outweigh the cost (at least that's my reasoning!) I always tell myself that when I buy a little something. Its better than blowing money on a shirt or something that you can't do anything with! and maybe you can use the finished craft project as a gift, saving you money later on! (man, can I reason this stuff or what?) just curious, what did you get? I have a major problem with buying cross stitch kits!

Hi, Kel!

I got a variety of things...paper, yarn, etc..... I haven't done counted cross stitch in a long time, but I have beautiful one I had started out of a magazine that I would like to finish and give as a gift.

I'm really wishing that TIME could be sold along with the projects! I really LOVE creating things...working all day on a computer, I just don't see a finished product at the end of the day.

Best wishes, Littlesbigs

I went a little crazy yesterday too - had a $10 gift card to a store (where *nothing* is 10 dollars)...so of course I went over.

My downfall is TV series on DVD.

All my best,
Danni
