One of the changes that I wanted to take to improve my money situation is to stop eating out. In December alone, I spent almost $400.00 on fast food. My goal was to eat out just once this pay period....Well, I ate out almost everyday. And on top of that my checkbook is not balanced. I am scared to look at it because I know it is bad. I just do not no how to stop myself. I don't know what to do.

Do you find that you eat out for lunch, supper or both? I've found that it helps to have a few things on hand at work, including snacks, so if I'm not in the mood for one thing, I have another option.

I've found too that having lots of options at home really helped me. Between the freezer and the microwave, I can make most foods faster than driving to the drive-through, waiting in line and coming home. Like others have said, cold-turkey is hard, sO I thought of meals that I loved, figured out ways to have lots of variety QUICKLY available. That helped me LOTS!

I eat out for both lunch and dinner. What I am going to try and do is make foods that I love on Sunday (enough for about two or three days) and see how that goes. To see if I see any improvements.

I do not drink any wine unless I am not driving so I am covered on that front. I am really going to take babysteps and try not to beat myself up or feel guilty if I backslide.

"What I have found is that if you want to be healthy and not as big as house, it is almost impossible to cut back by shaving the food allocation. "

I don't find this to be true.
