So not worth it!

DH and DD wanted to out to eat for lunch today. I agreed just because I didn't want a fight and I have had a horrible sinus infection since Friday night and still cooked dinner Friday and three meals yesterday and breakfast before church this morning.

The resturant they picked isn't one of my favorites, but DD likes it and once again, with my sinus infection, I didn't feel like a fight.

Well, I knew we were going to have to charge it because I misfigured when payday was. DH gets paid the first and the fifteenth. I was thinking he got paid the 15th and the last day of the month and since JAN 31 is on a Monday, he would get paid Friday. Any way, we go to this resturant (it is a national chain, so I won't mention any names) wait 10 minutes for a table (not to bad because it was 12:30 on a Sunday, major after church crowd). It takes the waitress 15 minutes to come take our drink order. We ordered appetizers and the kids' meals at the same time. Another 20 minutes to get our drinks, 20 minutes beyond that to get the appetizers and meals for DD and DS, and then 5 or 10 minutes later she's bringing our food. DH made a comment about how this resturant needed better control of the kitchen and I told him it wasn't the kitchen's fault. It was the waitress because every single bite of food was ice cold which tells me the kitchen had it ready, she just wasn't bringing it to us.

We want to complain to the manager, but of course he is no where to be found. We left $40 poorer for poor service and poor food. As we were walking out, DH and I agreed we wouldn't go back to that resturant. I also realized that the $40 charged to the `card wasn't worth the interest however, I will transfer $40 above my regular payment in hopes that I can erase that horrible memory. I learned my lesson, only go to resturants where I can pay cash and those are few and far between which is a good thing.

If I were you I would email the corporate office of this restaurant. You will get a reply-very quickly. They usually have a 1800 number or web address that you can send coments to. Hope you feel better. Carrie
