I sure don't like waiting....

I just e-filed my taxes tonight with Turbo Tax, and they say I have to wait 24-48 hours for the IRS to accept my return. Gosh, I just hate waiting. LOL! I'm normally don't feel paranoid about things, but each year at tax time, I just start wondering, "What if the IRS finds something wrong? What if they reject my return??". Up till now, they never have. The worst they've ever done is sent me a note saying that my child credit was a few hundred off last year, so they were adjusting my tax refund by that amount...and that my check would be on it's way. No problem.

Once I know my returns (Fed and State) have been approved, I'll be able to relax and just wait for the money to arrive. It's just the waiting that's hard. :-D

Anyone else waiting now for their approvals? :-D

Well, here's an update. Called the IRS number today and it said that my refund was scheduled to be direct deposited into my account on Friday, just two more days; hope it makes it in okay; waiting is the WORST part!

Here's my update also! Just got confirmation through Turbo Tax that my Federal and State returns were accepted! WooHoo!!!! Federal will be direct deposited on 2/11/05 (this is the one going to our 2nd mortgage), and they didn't give a date for the State refund, but since it's going to be used for a vacation this fall, there's no rush on that one. :-D

I can relax now. :-D For some reason, when I start seeing those tax preparation commercials on TV right after the New Year, I just get really anxious until I know my returns are finished and squared away. LOL! :-D
