We really like dried cranberries, but they can be a bit expensive...

So I tried making my own - Fi's parents gave us a bag of cranberries, and after I finished making muffins, I put some cranberries and blueberries on a pan in the cooling oven.

Now I have a pan with baked on fruit. Argh. Some of them did dry, and look kind of right, but I tasted one and it was really tart. Maybe I can use them in Fi's oatmeal tomorrow? Heeheehee.

There's this thing you can buy for the microwave that dehydrates your fruit. Try Froogling it.

Thanks for looking!

At least now I know not to try to make my own hot chocolate mix, LOL!

I guess I'll stick to baking with the berries.
