Ok, I've been super busy, but here's an update on me. I have actually made some progress this week. Got paid Wednesday from part time job, got paid Thursday from fulltime job, and then I got my tax refund on Friday. I have since paid $300 on my propane bill (balance is $96, and I'll probably pay it within the week), my credit cards are all current and under the limits for the first time in months (or at least they will when the payments post in a day or two), and I have food in the house. I also sold a piece of furniture this morning for a $100, so that helps, too. I am working an extra day at the parttime job this week, so that will be a little extra on my next check, and I get a bonus in a couple of weeks (only around $200, but I'll take it). I now have my smallest balance paid off (it was only around 10 bucks), have another card down to $30, have a couple more down to $100-$200, and I still have $500 in the bank. I am going to the bank on Monday to start a savings account with $100 of that. I haven't had a savings account in probably 7 or 8 years, and I'm bound and determined to keep this one, even if I can only put in five dollars each payday. At least it's progress. Now if I can just keep up the forward motion. It does feel better to be able to breathe a little easier. Thanks to each of you for all of your good thoughts. You guys are all such an inspiration to me, I visit the board every day, even if it's only a few minutes between jobs.

WooHoo!! This is super fantastic news!! Everything is current and under limits and you've even paid off one of your debts! :-D We're only a month and a half into the New Year, and look at all that you've accomplished. :-D I'm so happy for you. :-D
Great idea, also, about starting the savings account. Be sure ask them if they have any sort of "minimum balance" fees and such. Our savings account had one that charged $5.00 a month unless our balance was over $500. So month by month, our hard-earned money was being taken away by the bank. :-/ We switched to an account with no fees, so we can increase our balance little by little with no penalties. :-D

It sounds like you're getting your ducks in row :) Good for you - breathing easier is always such an incentive to continue to do better ... And starting a savings is great - even if it's only a little each paycheck - I bet it'll feel like a million bucks, lol better something small than nothing at all.
I am so happy for you. You've worked hard and sacrificed I know you can succeed. You are the inspiration.
Julie
Congratulations!
I'm sure you feel that you now have more "breathing" room :)
I only wish even more success to come your way.
