WoooHooo for me.
I don’t know if any of you remember me, but I posted a while ago upset and frustrated because my current employer was not paying me (I went the WHOLE month of January with out receiving an actual pay check) Long story short, I had to go behind her back and contact corporate about it. They handled it very well, without letting her know that I brought it to their attention and froze her corporate checking account until she submitted payroll. I have been paid regularly since….now my problem is W2’s. I still haven’t gotten them from her, she keeps saying that she turned the stuff in and can’t get an answer from corporate why they haven’t been sent, but I have a feeling that it is the same story that was with payroll…she just didn’t do it. Looks like I’m going to have to send another email to corporate.
Anyway, the good news. I got a new job!!! At a real company, with a boss that actually pays their employees!!!! I start on 3/14 and it’s a considerable pay increase for me. I’m so excited.
My husband will also be taking a new position in the near future brining home almost twice as much as he does now and won’t have to work late or on the weekends any more (he is currently in auto retail…tires and service and such and will be going to dealer service)
Between the two of us, we are looking at almost a 20k raise a year!!!! That’s is going to make paying stuff off soooo much easier.
Things are looking up!!!!

Congratulations!!!! I am hoping for similar good news soon!
I think legally that the w-2's are supposed to be in your hands by the end of January, so you do need to report it.

Great news! :)
Employers are legally required to have them out by the end of January - you will actually be doing corporate a big favor by letting them know that you have not received the W-2s.
Sooooo happy you are done with this terrible work environment!
