What would you do?

I have one year of college firmly under my belt. Starting in June my company will pay for me to go back to school. Unfortunately the next semester doesn't start until August. I have two options:

1. Go back in May before the company will pay for it.
2. Wait until August and have it paid for. All except books.

This is the problem. To go back in May I would have to pay the $1000 I owe a previous school because my financial aid didn't go through so they will release my transcript and I would have to pay for the current schooling. That is around $2000 total plus books.

I'm afraid to wait because I really want to advance in the company... Some of the positions I want require a degree.... What would you do?

I would wait. It's only a couple months. I don't think 3 months is going to make the difference in the long run for your career, but having that extra expense will make a big difference in your budget.

I tend to agree with firstamendment here.

All my best,

I guess it would make sense to wait. I would save $1000 that way. Danni, my company pays up to $4,000 a year plus class completion bonuses for any accredited college for a degree program or non degree program. It really is nice of them. It doesn't have to be company related at all.
