Didn't pay off card like I hoped to...

Well I was hoping to pay off my only CC with a balance today, but after taking a look at my finances I realised I wouldn't be able. Boo hoo! I knew how much I had to spend each week in order to make that goal and I didn't keep to it. I spent $50 unexpectedly in Target yesterday (new filter for vacuum cleaner was $25!), plus I spent more than I intended eating out (my weakness). So I was $100 short of my pay off goal, and only paid $537.51 on my card. I was hoping to pay that off, and still have some money to put towards my savings account. In the end, I didn't pay off all of my card and of course, nothing extra to savings.

I know that I don't earn a ton of money, but I think I do okay. I don't have an extravagant lifestyle, I don't have any hobbies I pay for. All I have is a condo, which I don't ever have the money to fix up the way I'd like. I still have just over $2000 in medical bills hanging over me, and I can't see an end to those. I just wish I could see some joy in fixing up my home or something. Every time I think I'm making headway, and paying things off so I can start saving money something else comes up. Now gas will be more expensive, my electric has been more expensive with the winter. My BF keeps delaying when he will move in with me - and now I'm just venting. Thanks for reading.

You'll be okay. Vent away, that's what we're here for!
