Hello! Just plodding along my debt-laiden life, but not having a bad time. I'm doing what I can to keep things manageable and still enjoy my life. I'm still snowflaking and looking for ways to keep costs low. I am having some successes and some setbacks, but nothing I can't handle. I'm just trying to look ahead, push ahead....I'll get there even if it is on $5 a day!

Today I dropped another "snowflake" at the bank to pay off a credit card. Lately I am on an auditing project at work that includes information about credit score usage. I've been reading some Fair Isaac info, and I'm just more motivated than usual to PAY THINGS OFF! Also, I can see how credit scores are being used in some insurance calculations, and I have to say that a couple credit score points one way or the other can make a difference in some of the things we pay and how we are evaluated for insurance and creditworthiness. We need to raise those credit scores up! It's a stupid number, but is very important.

I just finished reading "The Winter of Our Discontent" by John Steinbeck. I really enjoyed it, so I am recommending it here to all of y'all for a good spring/summer read....but also it is a good book for DSGers to read....has a lot of great one line quotes about money and the lack of it. I hope you go raid the library for it!!!!!!!!!!

Have a peaceful evening! (I'm off to the library!)
