STOP THE SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't take it anymore!!!!! (and believe me, I love love love to shop!!!)
I have been a shopping maniac preparing for a wedding for a cousin today( not Cousin Bernadette!!!!!!! Basically, at one point yesterday I was loading bags into the car, and I was wondering WHO was really getting married......my real cousin or the illustrious Cousin Bernadette??? )...not good....Well, at least the spending ends today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used a debit card for most of it....I charged one big thing yesterday.........I still have to get my hair done today.....I have no idea what to expect when I get to the venue, so I am on edge this morning.
I'm laughing because I do have a few things to RETURN......if it wasn't for the wedding then I would not have bought them, so back they go.........accessories to an outfit I already had at home, but then I changed my mind last night when I found the perfect outfit, and it cost as much as the accessories, so even exchange sort of?? LOL!
I expect to be BACK ON THE WAGON this week..............I MUST go back on the wagon this week.
Well, I'm going to enjoy my day and be happy for my cousin. I'll deal with Cousin B tomorrow. And the day after that. And the day after that................

Were you with me Saturday?????????????????????????????????????????????????????
I think I went on a total shopping binge!!
Mine wasn't for a wedding though, it was for our vacation and also ended up at Build A Bear and let Kyle make a bear (at least I did make him choose the cheapest bear) - but decided as we were driving home - Umm...Kyle that's your big birthday present - you just got it early (his birthday is May 22 - and when we went in it wasn't for his birthday!

Thank goodness my Cousin Bernadette is no match for my now-cheapskate husband. I was online the other night at the Fortunoff web site, enjoying buying a wedding present for a dear friend who is finally getting married (at my age, I don't have to buy too many wedding presents - my friends are started to get divorced, and their kids aren't old enough to get married). I also found a nice quilt set for my daughter's bedroom, which we're redoing this summer. I somehow managed to justify the $200 for that by telling myself that I'm going to be looking at it for the next 10 years and it is the most expensive part of redoing her bedroom. But when I started to look at replacing two pieces of Orrefors stemware that DH and I broke within the past year, at $49.50 a stem, DH came in, shoved Cousin B out of the way, and saved us from her evil influence! I bought the wedding gift and quilt set, which are in the budget, but NOT the crystal.

Can I chime in with a "Here, here, sister and a AMEN". I now know what happened to my DH after he was offered his job on Friday. Cousin B rode ALL the way home with on Friday and stayed with us ALL day Saturday at the mall. *see my post under accountablility thread*
All I can say is I am glad it's MONDAY!!!
