OK........We have $2,800.00 in our joint savings account (which is linked to our joint checking account). I just wrote out a check to his Chase credit card for the amount of
$2,245.39. The interest rate to this credit card was 8%.

We now have one less credit card debt.

Now our debt looks as follows:

Citibank (12%) owe $6,587.16
Bank One (4%) owe $8,646.73
MBNA (22%) owe $3,872.07
His student loan (8.25%) owe $10,142.46
My student loan (3.12%) owe $7,650.41
Timeshare (13%) owe $4,195.62
TOTAL: $41,094.45

Our debt total is actually lower than mentioned above. Payment for the month of June has been sent.

I will be depositing into our saving next week, when my husband gets paid. I want to have $3K at least in there.

Hi,
Good for you! Now what's your chances of getting that MBNA card paid off? That is a terrible interest. Good luck

I know....I've never had a c/c with 22%. His credit cards rarely have good offers.

That's my target card now. My goal is to have that one paid off before we move into our new house in November/December of this year.
