Snowflake question?

OK I hope this makes sense. How do we figure what is the snowflake amount? For instance in june my minimum payments was $339 and I just subtracted that from my total debt payments to come up with my snowflake. Well in July my minimum payments will be a little less, do we count anything over this new minimum payment amount as a snowflake? Or do we always stick with the original minimum balance figure?
Anyone understand?
Shannon

makes perfect sense. I count mine as anything over my required monthly payment. So if one month the minimum is $25 and I pay $100, I have a $75 snowflake. If the next month the minimum is down to $22 and I pay $100, I have a $78 snowflake that month. Does that make sense? Hope so! Have a great holiday weekend!

I figure it is a good incentive and a bonus for all the progress we are making on debt reduction. Feels good to be able to know that each month I am paying more and more over the minimums! :)
