As long as your car loan doesn't have repayment penalty then there should be no problem paying more then your regular payment on it. I tend to round my payment up to the next 10's place ie if my car payment is 421.50 I'll round it up to 430. etc if I can afford more I do. Alot of people also suggest writing somewhere on the bill or check that the extra should be applied to the principle. My bill has a spot on it that says extra payment towards principle so I just put whatever I can afford in that box. Good Luck

Any snowflake is great! It all adds up. I think working to pay your car as your target sounds like a good idea, because if I remember correctly your other debts are just unsecured credit cards?

How did you do with making your budget?

I would think you can do that. Ask your bank to be sure. If they don't let you pay little snowflakes, another thing you can do is set the money aside and pay it with your monthly payment.

Sounds like you have a great plan to be a flake! :)

I do all our grocery shopping at Aldi. Do you have one in your area?
