I have been bad

Hi, everyone. Well, remember the vacation? It is fast approaching. I tried to use my bank/debit card as much as I could, but ended up charging some items on the pesky cc. Have absolutely no clothes to wear. Nothing fits. So, I went to some websites and stocked up on sale items, shorts, t-shirts, short PJ's. Had to pay for the pet sitter, too. I did one snowflake to the car payment, but am not counting that. I did stay away from all dept stores, so that is a saving grace. Well, at least on vac, I hope not to spend too much. Whiz.

Hi,
Kohls & Hechts should both be starting clearancing summer clothing now. CHeck out the "take an additional 75%" racks. Look in the newspaper for coupons.

I have very little luck with the end of season clearance sales--never can find anything I like and would actually wear. My dilemma with kids' clothes is that mine are older. Teens will only wear the very newest stuff. My 15YO DD actually likes to find funky stuff in thrift stores--that's a bonus. My 17YO son doesn't give a flip about clothes and lives in the same cargo shorts and t-shirts year round. Problem is shoes for him, size 15's have to be special ordered full price--kid has giant feet!!!! And my littlest 8YO DD will not wear anything she does not pick out, so I can't buy a season ahead anymore. She's very picky. I find Target is a good spot for playclothes for her and not too pricey.
I don't have any problems whatsoever wearing used clothing. The way I look at it is all clothes are used once they have been on my body once. Running them through the washer and dryer will get rid of any unwanted creatures or left over body soil.
Totally agree about thrift stores.
