Crossing my fingers for you! It's great when the dh can work close to home. Mine is only a fifteen minute drive to his work, and it's lovely.
I definitely think the payment plan with the dentist is a good idea. Usually, they'll be more flexible and less willing to send you to collections and report you to the bureaus than will the credit cards (heaven forbid anything should happen, but you never know).
Anyway, considering also that it's interest-free, it seems like it would be hard to beat with a credit card offer, unless it was at 0% for at least a year and also offered rewards and you knew you could surf it elsewhere if, for whatever reason, you couldn't pay it.
Here's hoping something really positive comes of the job interview!
