What have you done for FREE money!

I was hoping we could share ideas on what we have done for free money. Here are mine recently:
I got an offer in the mail to open up a totally free checking account and the Bank would give me $75. All I had to do was open the account with $100. Within 10 days I would see the $75 bonus in my account, and I only needed to keepthe account open for 90 days. I have wanted to open a new account at a different back to help with savings and Christmas shopping. This was an awesome deal I couldn't pass up!
The new Albertsons (grocery store) a little out of my way was running a promo transfer a Rx and get a $20 giftcard. This was a little out of my way, but I had a new Rx for my son. They were also running some great grandopening sales, and gave you the card immediately. I can also switch this to one closer by my house with no problem.
A local Pharmacy was running a transfer a new Rx and get a $25 giftcard by mail. (kind of like a rebate) I transferred my Rx and sent away for the GC.
My plans for the free money:
the $75 will go towards Christmas Gifts
the $20 GC for Albertsons will buy either groceries or diapers
the $25 for the drug store will be used for Christmas gifts.
I am watching everything very closely to see if I can find any more "free" money!

I used to switch long distance carriers all the time.
All my best,

I definitely send in for all rebates. So many rebates don't get sent in, it ends up being free money for the company that offers the rebate. I heard of one computer company that ended up with $5 million more than they projected because those rebate requests didn't get turned in.
So, lessoned learned. If you buy an item with a rebate, send in the forms and get YOUR money back, otherwise, the company just gets the free money!

I take surveys online.
Some companies give you "points" - when we get enough points, I cash them in for a $5 gift card to a favorite restaurant.
Some companies just deposit $1.00 into my Paypal account for each survey (sometimes more, but usually only $1.00). I use that money to buy my homeschool curriculum on eBay. :)
AND some companies will send you their product to "test out" for free! I have gotten a free 4-pack of toilet paper to try, free instant pudding mix, etc.
I enjoy getting my opinion out there to the different companies, and I LOVE getting some freebies! (Email me if you want some survey links - Callmearavis@aol.com)

I try to always save cans & bottles that have deposits on them.
Thanks to everyone who emailed me for a few survey links! If you sign up and take surveys, I will get "referral points" - not worth a lot, but they sure do add up over time!!! Thanks again!!!!!
Let me know what you think of the different survey sites!!!
(I just realized one of the companies owes me about $25.00 right now! Woohoo!)
