Hi,
How frustrating and disappointing. But maybe the phrase "don't be sad, get mad" will help. We use it a lot around here. Frustrations can't control you and ruin your life -- you are more than that. For one thing, you are alive! and where there is life there is hope. I saw a billboard on the way to work today -- someone was saying "have a nice day" and the other person answered "I am, I woke up!" -- which struck me funny at the time -- but it is true!!! So get revenge -- keep looking for the dream job -- don't let opportunities pass by because of this disappointment. We're all pulling for you.

Everytime I get bad news, my first reaction is to say "f*&* it!" but then you think about the misfortune some more and realize that maybe it's just not meant to be. I truly believe things happen for a reason, so maybe a BETTER job is waiting for your Hubby, and you guys don't even know it yet. And maybe this job no matter how great it sounded just wasn't meant to be.

If he is still employed somewhere (looking at what Danni said) then that's great.. more time for him to look for the perfect job, and not settle for anything less. Something will come along. Don't let it ruin your mood.

My positive thoughts are with you and your family!

Maybe this is just a test-you know, the kind that you can NEVER study for and that the whole universe is watching how you do...

It could be a test to see how badly you want to be debt-free. It could be a test to see where your 'faith' reserve level is (pretty low, at the moment, I know, lol). Who knows?

You can give up, sure. But you *know* you'd hate it if you did!

Here's to yet another knot in your rope!

Thanks everyone!

I know I will keep trying but that news just basically knocked the wind out of my sail (AGAIN!) and it gets harder & harder to pick myself back up and keep on trying.

It's not like I really have a choice in the matter to NOT try!

Hi, Becky---Just got back from vacation (!). Am sorry to hear of DH job prospect not panning out. Thankfully, he has a job right now so he can continue looking for the right job. I know it will happen soon. DH just found out some people in his company got let go (right when we are on vacation!!). Thankfully, his job is OK, for now, but I keep telling him to start networking and letting everyone know he is looking, at least for something PT. You never know what might turn up. With positive thoughts, WHiz.
