Thanks everyone.

I'm still not too happy & haven't really figured out where we are finagling this money from - the money tree never sprouted.

It's just that we are barely hanging on as it is and this just pushed me right on over - I couldn't believe how much we got charged just to pull out a baby tooth!

No, I've looked and haven't found anything for dental/orthodontist.

The braces really can't wait.

Yes they are...I've looked & looked into dental/braces, etc... and came up empty handed.

My husband and I got an unexpected $600 dental bill last month and after I quit freaking out I called and told them that we couldn't pay it all right now but that my husband would make a payment at his next visit. (the following week) Then, I made my husband ask them why it was so much and why wasn't the insurance paying more and couldn't we get it lowered a bit? He did and they called the insurance and got more than $200 knocked off our final bill...well worth the asking.
