I haven't been posting much but will try to do better!!
I feel like I have taken some small, but very important steps and am feeling pretty proud of myself.
First, it has been almost a year since we put anything on a credit card and I am completely comfortable with this now. Even though we still have huge credit card debt, I feel a huge sense of relief that we now live on cash and not credit. It feels really good to have control over that old problem!
Second, I am now in the habit of taking my lunch to work every day. It's just routine now, I no longer feel like I'm missing out on the "good stuff" in the cafeteria.
Third, we have cut back on eating out to the point that we pretty much make and eat dinner at home all month, with maybe only one dinner out on a "date night." I have discovered that I really LOVE to cook. Plus it is nice to have a nice family meal together at the end of the day, in our own home where we are not rushed!
My DH is really good with managing money so it's nice to know that I can rely on him to make sound financial decisions for our family. My ex husband was so bad with money, he just filed for bankruptcy for the second time in his life. When we were married I felt like the money police even though I wasn't very good at it myself. Now I feel like I have someone extremely responsible to guide me!

Those small steps are BIG building blocks for your future! WAY TO GO!!! Those are steps that some folks live their entire lives unable to take--you rock, girlfriend!
