Just a little tiny celebration in my mountain of debt. . .
DH and I moved into our house in December. In March, we bought a washing machine (we were SO sick of having to go somewhere to wash our clothes, and were doing TONS of laundry with a new baby.) We did the "no payments, no interest for 6 months" deal, and it was set to expire on September 30. They sent us no notice that it was going to expire and we would be charged interest. We also received no bill. I got DH to call and ask when the deal expired, and we learned that it was Sept 30. So, we saved our money and paid it ALL off. . . almost $400 that Sears would have charged us 24% interest on, and it is PAID OFF. We still don't have more monthly payment $$ for other debts, because we haven't been paying on our Sears debt, but it feels great to have one of our debts GONE!
YAY!
