Looking for snowflake money

Hi! I am looking for snowflake money...Has anyone on the board found a way to come up with some extra snowflake money in the past week that you can share? I am trying to be careful about turning lights on and off in the house, trying to avoid too many extra driving trips, trying not to buy expensive lunches at work (I'll never be disciplined enough to bring my lunch...), and I am avoiding buying extra toiletries until I need them (makeup, too)...
I got a refund from a doctor because my health insurance paid more than the estimate, so I am snowflaking that.....
Any other suggestions? Any new ways to find snowflake money (or keep the bills down)?

I am looking for ways too! My friend suggested selling stuff on E-Bay but I haven't tried to do that yet. I would love to hear ideas from others!

I'm not sure how much money it saves, but this is something I've been doing lately. My Dh travels quite a bit, and my son goes to bed at 8pm. I usually like to stay up until around 10:30pm or 11pm, and no matter what room I use, each light switch controls anywhere from 3 lights (for ceiling fan lighting units) to 15 (our rec-room area). I just can't see using that many lights for what I do at night (computer, watching TV, listening to music, etc.) So I have been using up my stash of candles. I have a large drawer of candles that I'd bought at dollar stores over the past few years at 4/$1. I also have lots of candles I'd received as gifts. So I light one next to me wherever I'm sitting, and I blow it out before I go to sleep. That's really the trick....remembering to blow it out. :-D Like I said, I don't know how much I'm saving in electricity, but I do like the feeling of sitting by candlelight. Kind of relaxing. :-D
