Do you "overspend" on fun stuff?

HI, everyone. I have been wondering what all of you do for "fun" stuff. Do you ever get into a cycle of spending a little more than what you planned? Or, do you just have $50.00 per month for "mad money"? Example: DH has tendency to spend stuff on sports! Occasional tickets to games, but chips, soda, munchies, can add up. Or, going to the guys' house and watching games, and going out to eat, etc. Ideas? Budgets for fun? Thanks. WHiz.

We have a budget, sort of.

I give Dh about $15 a week in cash, which he spends and I never ask about. Sometimes it's groceries that he picks up on his way home from work, sometimes it's gifts for me, often it's snacks.

I give myself $30 per month. I also get $90 per month for groceries.

I sometimes spend more than I planned, but I no longer get in cycles of it.
