I am happy to say that I didn't spend as much money as I thought I was going to yesterday. I came home with half my money still in my pocket. I decided to look at everything and think about what I was going to buy, and in the end, I didn't buy as much as I expected and I was extremely satisfied. Now I will take the ha,ha "excess" money and apply it to my bills!

I'm tired and I have lots of things to do. And that is good.....nothing is about shopping right now, just trying to unbury myself out of all the junk I have right now.

I am excited that I think I see the end of paying off a credit card coming soon!

I have to visit my library today....

I just want to enjoy life in the next few weeks without having a price tag attached to it.

That's great Littlebigs! Coming home with half of your money is really good!

I agree with you about enjoying the next few weeks without a price tag attached to it. My family went out yesterday and just drove around our town looking at the changing leaves. Granted, we used up some gas for this, but it was all about having fun. We had the windows down, and we were talking and sometimes singing silly songs, and just enjoying life. We stopped at a park that had a walking trail and we all took a walk together. I'd love to have more days like that during the next few weeks. :-D

That is really good, not spending ALL your cash, I'm sure that puts you in a much better frame of mind than if you had spent it all. I did housework this weekend, then enjoyed the fall weather & colors by taking walks, I walked Fri evening, twice on Saturday & on Sunday. I found myself giving thanks for the beautiful weather & colors. It is so much more relaxing to be enjoying our homes & weather than running around trying to find the best deal shopping. I also spent some time cooking on Sunday, so we are prepared for quick easy cheap meals this week, so we aren't tempted to eat out.

I am planning a trip to the city to visit my Mom on Saturday, it is 150 mi round trip, we are planning on going to her church craft bazaar, then to the movie "in her shoes". We could run around all day shopping but taking it slow & enjoying my moms company sounds much better. I will spend $ on gas & movie (I'll treat my Mom), but I am taking cash & sticking with it.

I spent more $ than I wanted to getting ready for our vacation a couple weeks ago, so I need to watch my spending so I don't go into the Christmas season further behind! Tightening the purse strings is possible so here goes!

Have a good day!
