This past week I designed an excel spreadsheet of everything that I owe. It includes my interest rates, my minimum payment, and even how much I have snowflaked! Looking at it makes me optimistic that I will be able to pay things down. It won't happen quickly, but I hope to get a couple of the smaller bills paid off by the end of the year with some freelance $$ coming in at the end of the month. Since I am single, I also changed my tax status so that I get a little more back in my paycheck instead of giving it to the government. I hope that helps too.

It's so nice to see the support from this group, and it's nice to know i'm not alone! Everyone have a GREAT weekend, i've decided to take up crocheting, let's see if I can make a potholder! :)

Great news on the spreadsheet - way to go!

Good luck with the crocheting.

All my best,

I have something in excel. I have also included all my monthly bills in a different section. my goal each month is to try and pay all my monthly bills early and flake as much as I can each month.

I've been doing this off and on (I have ben known to fall off the wagon) but I love to see the totals going down.

It may not be much every month, but I agree, I love watching that number go down! The spreadsheet is also helping me keep track of the interest rates as well. OH and i'm not making a potholder, I'm making a scarf and it's almost done!
