I swear to God, this company is beyond belief! I have vented here before about this company,DIRECT MERCHANTS BANK, and CANNOT WAIT TO GET THEM PAID OFF! I got a call that my account, THAT IS NOT PAST DUE (pmnt due on 14th) is now OVER THE LIMIT (?? haven't used as I have destryoed the card!) and that they wanted me to pay NOW what is over the limit, so that I don't get A LATE FEE ...How does THAT work?! I said that I don't do it over the phone, and why couldn't I just include the OL amount with my regular payment, and she said that I will incurr a late fee of $39...I said, Boy, you guys get us coming and going, don't you. You call if my payment is 5 minutes late and hang up on me all day, now you're calling saying that I will get a late fee TWO FREAKIN' WEEKS before my payment is even due???
PLEASE--STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I have since heard other people complain about this company.

I'm new here, but couldn't help but feel for you....that is unbelievable.
Have you thought about filling a complaint with the Better Busness Bureau?? It's toll free....800-353-1192 (had to look it up to spell "bureau", lol, so I thought I'd just give ya the # too).
