I was out all day yesterday, so I got nothing done at home. My plans for today fell thru, but I don't mind. It will be a few dollars saved that I think I can snowflake.

I'm going to go out for a while then back home to clean. I have to get out and see the world and the leaves my way today. I am trapped in the triangle of home, work, and the grocery store. I need to see more of the world than that......I think it's put me in a funk lately.......

Today I have to stop and THINK.........groceries......groceries........need to plan out my week's eating...I have been spending too much on food lately.

I have to pull out the winter clothes now....I know I don't need anything new, at least not for now! I am going to do some ironing and put a dry cleaning pile together. I will avoid the mall until further notice....The mall spells trouble for me. I have been avoiding the mall, and doing very well. I see the grocery store and the book store...that's enough for now.

I'm also planning to continuing reading my library book, napping, and visiting with SO tonight. Just simple things I do that cost nothing and make me happy.

I'm still mulling over Xmas this year....where to get the money for gifts. Well, for now, I am going to try to save a little, but I'm just not sure what I'm going to do...

I have to buy some candy for work tomorrow. Also, they have asked us to dress in orange and black for work tomorrow....I have no orange I can think of. Maybe I can get away with gold, but I am NOT shoppping for clothes to fit into a one-day color scheme. I'll just wear all black! There goes work trying to spend my money again!

Enjoying my one extra hour today! Daylight savings! Littlesbigs

Could you afford maybe $5.00 per family, not per person, on your list? You could give a $5 Blockbuster Gift card placed inside of a normal holiday card (you can make these by hand or on the computer for free), with a nice message about how you're wishing them a fun family movie night together. We're doing this for Dh's co-workers this year. In the past, I've done the Lenox China and Crystal gift sets, and it just became so expensive trying to buy for everyone.
