Oh, I blew it yesterday....stopped by the craft store and charged $70 of stuff...and this morning I am buying tickets to an event.......I will not spend the rest of the weekend!!!!!!!
I have to admit that I did want the craft stuff very badly, and I am glad I bought it, but I have that spending guilt now. I had stopped by the shop because I wanted a book, and then before I knew it, I had more stuff in the cart, but I really wanted it. No, I do not need craft stuff, but I do need to have my creative forces flow....ok, I'm over it now.
The event is something I HAVE to do, so I am going to charge the tickets over the phone, and I'll pay all this back as soon as I can.
Today is another day to try again. Just keep me away from stores......well, then I feel like I am locked into house-jail. Ugh! Going to the library helps. It really does. I took 2 videos out last night....free is good.
Well, I start every morning thinking this day may be THE ONE where everything turns around. Usually I am surly and disappointed by th eend of the day, but I try.........and try.......won't give up.
While I an waiting to buy my tickets online, I will try to clean and eat some breakfast....

Perhaps we should start a 12 step program for crafting addicts. :) Hello, my name is Sandra and I have yarn stuffed in every crevice of my house.
For me, crafting is very theraputic. Helps to relieve the stress of work and life.
To alleviate guilt over craft purchase, I try to make sure some good comes out of the purchases. I make gifts so I don't feel so selfish about my purchases. When I don't have anyone to make a gift for, I make things for charity - the craft supplies are then tax deductible.
Good luck with the rest of your weekend.

Hi, Sandra,
I think you get it! LOL! The making of stuff is so stress relieving for me, too! I do have plans to craft away tomorrow unless I have an urgent need to clean....else I'll spend half a day on both....and fit in the nap somewhere, too.
Yes, I have CRAFT STUFF in every nook of the house, too!!!!!
