The car AGAIN...

I got to the bus stop after a lousy day at work....and the fan inside the interior of the car was making some horrible noises when I turned it on....oh,no...I see another car repair bill looming at the WORST time.....UGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't deal with it at all.....I don't have the money for it...ANOTHER credit card bill is coming for this, I just KNOW......

The car is getting OLD anyway, but I was hoping to get more time out of it....like I'd like to be able to have some wiggle room in the budget so I can afford a CAR PAYMENT in the not too distant future....not that I want a car payment....this car is paid off which is why I am trying to keep it as long as I can....UUUGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So life is getting MORE expensive everyday...and I am just not able to keep up anymore....and I can't keep up with my job anymore either.....so stressed out!!!!!! I had to take work home tonight....I am so upset about that, too......

I may have to cancel plans for this weekend to get the car fixed.....I'm just out of cash, out of time, out of my mind.....I can't catch a break....

Well, at least it is not the engine....but UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awwwww... I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so frustrated! Cyberhugs...

The fan might not be too bad. Do you have any mechanic friends you could call to get a likely diagnosis? We always call dh's dad and ask, and he can usually tell us if it's something we should have checked out or if it's something that can wait.

Anyway, it seems like the discouraging stuff always comes in batches. Makes for hard times. I hope things look more encouraging for you soon.

Blessings,

Heather

I'm smiling b/c my dad is a mechanic, and whenever I call him about problems with things that aren't related to the engine, he usually responds "well, then don't use the fan!" - he's 3000 miles away, so it's about the only thing he can say to "solve" the problem for me.

I have a friend who drives a van with no a/c, and no heat - he thinks it's unnecessary.

All my best,
Danni

I pretty much agree with Danni. I had an old commuting car in which the heat kicked on about the time I pulled into my driveway (20 minutes later). I would probably want the defrosters to work. Also, a noise doesn't mean immediate repair.
Good luck!
