Welcome back.

Sorry about your delimna (sp?). I don't have any suggestions/adivice. I just wanted to say don't be so hard on yourself. Sometimes it's hard to say no to family.

Hang in there, girl.

One suggestion. Don't cut all the credit limits. Leave some alone. Part of your credit score is based on % of available credit used. Say you lower your limit to $1000. And then you charge something in an emergency for $750. Now you've used up 75% of your available credit versus only 13% (I'm thinking the Discover here which I think had a 6k limit).

Sending <<>> to you. The only thing that I wanted to suggest is to forget about the debt your sister owes you. She is I'm sure aware she owes you this money, but family is notorious for not paying back debt. Unless the person is the type who feels obliged to pay debt back then you may never see a penny back. I know it is frustrating to lend someone money and not have it paid back.

It helps to realise the money was probably a gift to her. I may not give her a Christmas gift, and leave it at that.
